SF Zoo & Gardens Partners with First 5 California in “Tale of the Komodo Dragon,” in Honor of Newest Resident

San Francisco Zoo & Gardens announces its newest resident, a male Komodo dragon, who is the inspiration for a new two-month-long celebration, called, “Tales of the Komodo Dragon.” The event is sponsored by First 5 California (F5CA), a non-profit geared to parents with young children and supporting their emotional well-being, and who recently introduced their latest campaign, “Dragon Song.” In addition, to kick-off the celebration, SF Zoo will host a Komodo Karnival on Saturday, November 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring games, prizes and a climbing wall, free with paid zoo admission or membership.
